About Rebel Roofing
Proudly based in Leeds, we are an independent, family-run roofing business dedicated to honest craftsmanship, high standards, and dependable protection for your home. With over 20 years in the building trade, we bring unmatched expertise and true peace of mind to every roof we touch.
Our family story and passion for the trade
People often ask where our name comes from. It is inspired by my youngest daughter, Rebel. When I was looking for a name that stood out and rolled off the tongue, Rebel Roofing was the obvious choice. I originally got into the trade through a good friend because I always wanted to work outdoors in the fresh air. Today, our company is a genuine family affair: my wife manages our office and customer admin, while I work directly on the roof alongside my older daughter, training her up to continue our proud family standard.
Doing things differently from typical roofers
Roofing can sometimes get a bad reputation, but we are here to change that in Leeds. We proudly champion diversity by employing both men and women, breaking outdated industry stereotypes. We also hold an uncompromising attitude towards standards: if a material is not up to scratch, we simply will not use it, unlike many others who cut corners. To prove our confidence, we provide a lifetime workmanship guarantee on our projects alongside full manufacturer warranties on top-tier materials.
Qualified hands and twenty years of skill
When you hire Rebel Roofing, you get experienced hands actually on your roof—not untrusted subcontractors. With over 20 years of hands-on experience, I am NVQ qualified in slating and tiling, as well as a certified fibreglass flat roof installer. Over two decades, I have also developed multi-skilled craftsmanship across a vast range of building work, giving us the practical knowledge to solve complex roofing challenges efficiently and correctly the first time.
"The tidiness, politeness, and remarkable speed of the team stood out immediately. The quality of our new roof is second to none."
